The Orcas Farmhouse is a lovingly restored homestead located on Orcas Island - the largest of the San Juan Islands, just ninety miles northwest of Seattle. Available as a vacation rental, The Orcas Farmhouse makes for an enjoyable, peaceful retreat. Surrounding the house are meadows, forest and a year-round stream with waterfalls. When in season you can pick apples, pears and blackberries. Looking out the windows you can see views of the other islands and passing ferryboats as well as deer and bald eagles. The best of the San Juan Islands is just outside your door!
The house has three bedrooms, a futon sofa in the living room, and a day bed. Antique furnishings and original NW Indian artwork add to The Orcas Farmhouse's charms. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. You will find a fully equipped kitchen, all new appliances, plenty of towels and linens, telephone, and a 40-inch flat screen television and DVD movie collection. A high-speed Internet connection via Wi-fi for easy access. Books, puzzles and games are provided for rainy days and quiet times. From The Orcas Farmhouse, you can easily walk to the charming hamlet of Olga, Buck Bay, and world-class cinnamon rolls at the Olga Café and Artworks. Lakes for swimming and miles of trails for hiking within Moran State Park are just five minutes away by car. The centerpiece of the park is Mount Constitution, where you can hike or drive to its 2,409-foot summit. Sailing, bicycling, horseback riding, sea kayaking and whale watching are just some of the activities that are conveniently nearby.
